Dreaming of sparkling white teeth? We’ve got you covered. For best results, opt for a combination of at-home and in-office teeth whitening. At our Prague office, our English-speaking staff will take an impression of your teeth, order made-to-measure trays, and explain the correct procedure. In just a few weeks, you will see a notable, lasting difference.
We only work with safe technology, based on hydrogen peroxide – a substance which has been used in dentistry for a long time. Numerous studies have deemed it safe for use. When whitening under professional supervision, following the correct procedure and recommendations, there is no risk of damage to your teeth or gums.
The results of combined teeth bleaching are long-lasting, and it’s particularly effective. By combining in-office and at-home teeth whitening, we can achieve a lighter shade. The effect of standalone in-office whitening is limited, as the whitening agents only penetrate the surface layers of the enamel. This may lead to a gradual return to the original shade.
If you conscientiously follow the procedure and subsequent regular care that we recommend, you can expect permanent results.
No, the whitening gel only works on natural tooth tissue. If you have fillings or crowns in the front of your mouth, they will likely need to be replaced after whitening to match the colour.
Teeth whitening always works, but for some clients, the full effect may only become apparent after a certain period of time. The results of Pure Whitening are guaranteed by the manufacturer: if your teeth do not whiten to the desired shade (B1) the first time, you will receive additional gel kits free of charge. These can be used repeatedly until the desired shade is achieved.
There is no need to avoid dark foods or drinks altogether. You will be able to drink coffee, tea, and red wine in limited quantities. However, we do recommend cutting down on cigarettes. After consuming dark beverages (or smoking), it’s best to clean your teeth as soon as possible to prevent brown pigment spots from forming on your teeth.
You may experience temporary sensitivity to cold. However, this usually lasts only 24–48 hours and can be minimised with proven techniques. If your teeth are prone to sensitivity, we can apply a protective coating in advance. For home use, we recommend regenerative and soothing creams or toothpastes such as GC Tooth Mousse or Sensodyne Pronamel.
Teeth whitening is not suitable for children and teenagers under 18, pregnant persons, or patients with tooth decay or gum inflammation.
First, you’ll need to have your teeth treated. For safe results, it is key that your teeth and gums are 100% healthy. Bleaching teeth with cavities or exposed necks could be very painful.
